Sometimes we were taken aback/ pleasantly surprised by act of kindness shown by strangers to us. Have you seen a random act of kindness go down in person? If so, tell us what you saw here.

Hmm... interesting topic. I am not sure whether the following story qualify under this title, but I would like to share this with you guys.
There was this one time, me and wife, was driving through the toll booth towards north, using Smarttag. Sometimes the tag isn't so smart, specially that day, and the scanner couldn't read the tag. So we were stuck for a while, I started to reverse the car out of the booth. Unfortunately, a car was already inching towards the booth. Through my rearview mirror, I could see the lady driver of that car, picked up her smarttag and waved it close to her windshield, thus allowing us to go through! Yay!
Unfortunately, for her, she now seems to be stuck herself (:- . Then we saw somebody from another booth came to assist her. We drove our car slowly in order to let her passed. The thing is after 5-10 minutes of slow driving, no car bypassed us that fit the description of her car! Oh, well .... we missed our chance to thank her ... (:- (:-

Well, there is more to that story. {:-D
The next day we decided to 'pay it forward'. You know, like the movie :"Pay it forward". You don't pay back the person who helps you, but pay it to another person/ stranger.
According to the movie, you have to pay back 3 different people, and you have to do something 'big', that the person couldn't do it himself. Well, we are not that 'adventurous' so we decided to bend the rule a little and just 'pay in kind'.
Anyways, as we approached the same toll, we decided to use the 'pay cash' booth, and paid extra for the car behind us. Then we drove away slowly, and watched. The driver of the car behind us seems to be perplexed as why the girl at the booth just waved him through and probably told them we have paid for them. So the driver sped towards our car, probably saw our unidentified number plate, and just slowed down, and the poor fellow probably parked his car by the roadside, because it just disappeared from our rear-view mirror! Probably thought we were trying to trick him or hijack his car, or something with ulterior motive, probably cursing us under his breath, even
Hah, now we are contemplating our next 'victim' :*: Beware - Could be you
